The weather is truly miserable today, I know it is ridiculously British to talk about the weather but it always has an impact on the decision of dinner. Normally when it has been raining 10 hours straight I want to cook comforting stodgy food but, we are still in that stage of the new year where biscuit/buffet belly are very much my reality. I'll rejoice in the comfort food next week.

These squidgy puffs of absolute delight were made ever so lovingly by Steve to make up for a week full of crappy disappointment. Our food trailer project is moving along but there seems to be endless amounts of holes that allow this glorious November rain to enter through the hatches and form a flowing river across the wooden work tops.

Tonight's dinner has got to be quick and simple as we have an hour slot between Georgie coming home from work and leaving again to see a school play. Today has been a rainy and miserable one and I embarrassed myself at the fishmongers by using language that must've become extinct from the dictionary about 100 years ago. Georgia will have to order from now on while I let the incident fade from memory.
