Our Little Horse Box Kitchen
What we Are
Converted from a horse box (as you may have guessed), this fully functioning kitchen on wheels is our fabulous food trailer. Painted in a stand-out magenta, hand-decorated by Kieran Signs and accessorised with a pop of colour from our festoon lights, we are ready for any occasion.
What we Make
The Horse Box specialises in flatbread tacos. These are made by our very own hands using organic yoghurt which creates the beautiful, soft texture and provides the perfect vessel for our savoury fillings. The menu changes with the seasons, depending on what’s flourished in farmer’s fields and what we feel inspired to make. Past menus have included ‘Low ‘n’ slow shoulder of lamb in a rich tomato sauce with spring greens, pickles and toasted almonds’, ‘Free Range Porchetta with greens, lemon mayo, hazelnut gremolata and pickles’ and ‘Roasted aubergine with almond romesco, spring greens, pickles and toasted seeds’. Always served in a taco, always made by us and always mouth-wateringly flavourful. We hate to leave anyone out of the taco experience so there will always be a vegetarian filling and often a gluten free and/or dairy free option available. If you see us at an event, just let us know your dietary requirements and we’ll see what we can do.
What we do
You can hire us for private events for 50+ people. We have catered for weddings, birthdays, work lunches and corporate days and would love to hear from you if you have an event coming up. Our catering options include our beautiful tacos served on the trailer, but we also do our own version of a buffet - think mezze style sharing platters.
